The Arizona Republic Mar. 1, 2008 12:00 AM Today, Arizona Museum of Natural History in Mesa opens an exhibition that reveals a new understanding of how birds are related to dinosaurs. "Feathered Dinosaurs and the Origin of Flight" consists of 35 fossils on loan from China - life-size reproductions of two species of dromaeosaurs called deinonychus (a family of birdlike, carnivorous, theropod dinosaurs, called raptors in the film Jurassic Park). The exhibit also includes sculptures, images and scientific information on the prehistoric "birds." www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/arizonaliving/articles/0301dinosaurs0301.html
